Martha Rhea
Martha Rhea was the director of the Salina Arts and Humanities Commission, a local arts agency that is a department of the City of Salina, from 1971 to 2001. She founded the Smoky Hill River Festival, and was responsible for the Horizons Grants Program and the establishment of the Community Art and Design Program among a number of other initiatives. Currently she is a member of the board of directors of the Greater Salina Community Foundation and an ally for the Circles of the Heartland Program, as well as serving as a mediator with the SIRJ program.
